Grana B&B is a boutique hotel where design takes center stage. Since staying there, I’ve noticed well-known chefs and designers I follow on Instagram staying there too. The hotel is in an ideal location next to a colorful outdoor market and has beautiful public spaces that showcase Oaxacan culture in style. There’s a candlelit wall of cactus leaves, bright and striking ceremonial masks in the bathroom off of the courtyard, and a dream kitchen filled with local ceramics and artisan crafts. A good breakfast is included.

NaNa Vida Hotel Oaxaca is one of the best places to stay in Oaxaca.
